I was born, raised, and spent the majority of my life in Detroit, MI.  Since becoming a Christian at 19, I've felt compelled to serve my city.  I have served in a myriad of ministry capacities including, prison and homeless chaplaincy, youth pastor, mentor for at-risk children and youth, preacher, and Bible teacher.  From 2015-16, I served as a pastor/church planting resident at Restore Church in Central Detroit, MI.  On 10/16/16, we officially launched Cornerstone on Detroit’s West Side.

I married my best friend Elita in 2004 and we have five wonderful children; Elisabeth, Philip, Sarah, Tabitha and Abigail.

I have spent almost my entire life in the Metro Detroit area.  I was raised in a Christian home and have been blessed throughout my life with many people pointing me to the love Jesus has for me and my need to trust in Him.  It is my hope and desire to help others recognize and trust in the love and redemption that is found in Christ alone.  I graduated from Moody Bible Institute and Moody Theological Seminary and previously served as a Youth Pastor for 11 years.  I love all that God is dong in and through the faith family of Cornerstone Church - Detroit.

I married my wife Krysta in 2006 and we have 4 amazing children: Davon, Amani, Mercy, and Josie.
